New Third Coast is incredible, and I couldn't recommend them more highly. I found them online as my fiance and I were planning our Suttons Bay, MI, wedding and they were nothing but helpful from start to finish. Patrick went above and beyond to make sure that every detail related to music was covered, and the guys played a wonderful mix of music (including requests!). They are talented musicians who added a lot to our wedding day!

I just wanted to let you know my husband, kids and I attended the music festival in Grand Marias this past Sunday and we were blown-away by your set. Our jaws were on the ground most of the time; the vocals were amazing and the original songs were the best. We don't know about some of the other groups that played at the festival, but we know about you now! If you ever come to Ontario, you would be a hit! Thanks for a great show (and what a nice festival'wish we would have been there Saturday too).

This CD brings up a lot of amazing memories of when I saw this group at my instrumental music camp!!!! It was really fun and a great addition to the camp and I love being able to listen to the songs!
A review of "It Is What It Is" in the Grand Rapids Press by John Sinkevics the week of August 27th, 2007:
"...this live CD from Leelanau County trio New Third Coast delivers harmony-driven "power folk" with multi-instrumental polish. With tunes like "Walking On" and "The Legend of Sleeping Bear," Patrick Niemisto, John Kumjian and Bryan Poirier produce an almost-perfect musical soundtrack to northern Michigan's scenic wonders."
From an article titled, "ARENA BRINGS IN THE GREAT ONES"
"What shouldn't get lost in the shuffle and hoopla over multimillionaire rockers is the arrival of several monumentally talented artists at smaller West Michigan venues, namely:"
"-New Third Coast....This show in the intimate setting of Grace Bible College's Baker Auditorium will spotlight this attention-nabbing Leelanau County trio, which boasts three-part harmonies and multi-instrumental prowess." John Sinkevics from The Grand Rapids Press
"The life and truth and joy in your music replenishes my soul (with a little help from the lakes, the sand, the scenery, and the solitude)."
"That theme of being remembered, when we're not here to tell our own stories anymore, comes through powerfully in your songs."
"There's something wonderful about watching you all play together that affirms life and brings me joy."
